Superb design to reproduce the bad grass pitches on which the pioneers of football played.

Pitch is made in 2 versions:

WITHOUT the box semicircle.
This was the design of the football pitches from 1902 – the year in which the midfield line and the penalty area were introduced – to 1937: the proposal to introduce the box semicircle came from a referee of the Milanese federation at the end of the 1920s, in order to keep the players at the same distance from the spot during the execution of the penalty kick. This proposal was supported by the Italian Federation.
The mandatory nature of this new marking of the area was sanctioned by Ifab, the Association which still holds the exclusive power to modify the rules of the football game.

WITH the box semicircle.

The particular material chosen allows the pitch to be safely hand washed in warm water and ironed (however, iron only the back side).

We recommend brushing the pitch carefully before playing, as the particular printing method, in the absence of brushing, could cause excessive ball speed.

PLEASE NOTICE:
This pitch can be overlapped on a rubbered field already on a wooden surface, simply by flattening it with your hands.
The playability will be perfect.
